where were all these mistakes last week ND? Man, they can't do anything right

 

I think that about characterizes it right for ND..an easy catch by the tight end prevents the INT, a fumble on a kickoff, 4 penalties, and one big blown coverage-they just need to settle down, and fast please!

Good idea by NBC making sure ND is represented in the booth by bringing in Bettis.

 

Well, it is ND's broadcast..of course they are going to try to bring in as many of their own former players as possible.

Ouch-feel bad for Auburn, first good drive ends with a missed field goal-and especially for their kicker, who is still upset by last year's kicking debacle and does it again.

Hrm...interesting. May I ask why?

 

Improve the resume of our opponents/conference. Same reason I was rooting for ISU over Iowa, and will be rooting for Tech over TCU. I have my limits though, I hope USC thrashes Nebraska, and really want to see Colorado start 0-8.

 

I wanna be the only undefeated team in the North after tonight. I just generally dislike OU. As for Tech, I wanna see both of us undefeated at 5-0 and ranked in the top 25 when we face each other. Hopefully it'll be on national TV.

 

K-State is at 3-0 after beating Marshall. Looks like you're gonna get that OU loss though, they look terrible in the early going in a hostile environment.

 

I wouldn't really worry about K-State. If I had to rank the teams in the B12N, I'd go:

 

1. Missouri

2. Nebraska

3. ISU

4. KU

5. KSU

6. CU

 

There could probably be some shuffling 3-5, but generally, I'd view Neb as Mizzou's real competition

Oh definitely, once KSU starts playing real teams they're gonna get smoked. I'm not going to think of Mizzou as a favorite until they make it through the CU game though. I will say, it helps that Nebraska and Mizzou are the only teams that have looked strong so far.
