Juice has looked alright for Illinois today. Definitely their only positive in this game. I wonder if Zook will finally start him next week after another craptacular performance by Brasic.

 

Is Russ Weil playing at all this year? I went to high school with him. He was our stud RB when we finished 3rd in the 6A state playoffs.

 

And is Kyle Knezetic still the long snapper? He was on that team too.

 

Weil was getting some action in at FB today. He had a pretty stupid personal foul penalty when Illinois was driving when they were only down 14-7. Zook got in his face and even gave him a shove on the sidelines.

 

No idea about Knezetic.

Knezetic is #49, I remember seeing him last year and two years ago but I haven't watched this year at all.

 

Very surprising about Weil, he usually has a pretty cool head and is very smart on the field. Good to hear he's getting some PT though. Lots of Minooka High School alumni on that team the past few years (Scott Moss as well).

Right now, I'm rooting against anyone ranked higher than LSU, so I have no qualms rooting for Michigan.

 

Then you must be rooting for Syracuse because they are not in the top ten....I have no idea why.

 

Wow...no Illinois guys out there, just basketball fans, eh? You're the 3 point favorite so far.

 

If both teams play like they did last week, Cuse will win by 2 TD's. That is, if they can actually score 2 TD's... :wink:

Improve the resume of our opponents/conference. Same reason I was rooting for ISU over Iowa, and will be rooting for Tech over TCU. I have my limits though, I hope USC thrashes Nebraska, and really want to see Colorado start 0-8.

Improve the resume of our opponents/conference. Same reason I was rooting for ISU over Iowa, and will be rooting for Tech over TCU. I have my limits though, I hope USC thrashes Nebraska, and really want to see Colorado start 0-8.

 

I wanna be the only undefeated team in the North after tonight. I just generally dislike OU. As for Tech, I wanna see both of us undefeated at 5-0 and ranked in the top 25 when we face each other. Hopefully it'll be on national TV.

K-State is at 3-0 after beating Marshall. Looks like you're gonna get that OU loss though, they look terrible in the early going in a hostile environment.
