Mizzou up 27-7 on Ole Miss. The defense this year is fast, I love it. The offense is so different with Chase Daniel in there. I wish I was at the game right now, but I've been taking care of a sick girlfriend all day.

I was hoping Lane would have a good season. He's a good kid. He graduated from high school here as a highly touted QB but didn't do well reading defenses and is being used as a TE and H-back.

After a touchdown by NC St. put them up 17-14 over Akron, NC St got a stupid 15 yard penalty for players running on to the field prematurely and Akron is now in field goal range. The ball is on the 12 yard line with 13 seconds left.

The local Raleigh, NC station that I normally watch news on has a weekly Pigskin Picks for games involving ACC teams. The picks involve the four sports reporters and one of the news anchors (with a different news anchor participating each year). Last week the news anchor went 5-0, beating all of the sports staff, by picking a couple of upsets (such as Duke losing to a 1-AA team). This week she was the only one in the contest who picked Akron to beat NC State.

Washington's punter just kicked one over the returners head - it ended up being an 82 yard punt - but Oklahoma's returner Reggie Smith took it 65 yards back up the field. Amazing.

Most definitely. I was really surprised/impressed at how one-sided the game was, especially when Ole Miss had the ball. They didn't crack 100 total yards until the 4th quarter, and their only TD came after Mizzou fumbled away a punt and gave them a short field.

I wish Pinkel would get Woods off of punt return. Last week he was calling fair catch when he had running room, and this week he wouldn't call it and was getting drilled, and cost us the shutout. I like that guy who was doing it at the end of the game, #13 I believe.

Pig Brown, he had a decent return, then took one to the house that got called back. Although, to be fair, Brown had much better blocking on his returns, in the first half Ole Miss's gunners were getting right to Woods every time.
