I'd be more worried about the injury if it were someone like Donovan, but Deuce I have faith to be ready. There doesn't appear to be a whole lot of concern by those close to the injury too which helps.

T.P. is a really nice facility. The concourse/walkway wrapping around the Harlem end all the way around is nice, there are plenty of concessions and bathrooms, and there's not a bad seat there. The only drawback is the fellowship-like quest it takes to get to Bridgeport.

 

I keep vacillating on season tickets.

Why has Chivas found itself in such a mess?

 

Because branding your team Chivas immediately alienated a massive chunk of your market in LA; the team's been mismanaged terribly and run as basically a CD Guadalajara tribute band as opposed to an actual team on it's own.

 

The team last night was like the first 45 minutes of Major League. One of their starters wasn't on their roster 24 hours prior.

Great game -- heck of a comeback by Portland. And the Timbers Army represents. I've seen a lot of games -- and was a DC United fan -- but damn if the Army didn't convert me almost immediately with their enthusiasm and tifo. The soccer culture here in Portland is pretty fantastic.
