Outgassed and outclassed.

Even with the Kaka goal that wasn't allowed, the breaks didn't go our way like they did against Spain.

Spain played through the middle arrogantly. Didn't alter their attack when we clogged the middle. Brazil's strengths are on the counter, the wings and the set pieces. Theyre like a more talented Germany right now than the traditional Samba Kings. They were just too much. Their also bigger, faster and stronger than Spain.

It's a disappointing result after the first half, but I'd have taken a 2-3 result as respectable from the outset.

We had that one, but the last 45 showcased why we need more depth. 2-2 and we bring on Bornstein and Sacha.

No Mikey, no Edu hurt them depth wise. Adu and Torres out of form and favor, respectively. Could hold the middle, couldn't keep them from running at Spector.

Bradley waited too long to sub his guys again. A consistent pattern he keeps refusing to learn from. However, we had no class left to put on the pitch.

Howard misplayed the second, great effort by Lucio on the winner.

Losing like that stings like hell, but a lot to be proud of.

-Davies, I think, has earned that support strikers role, and hopefully will keep improving. He missed some golden opportunities yet showed some quality

-Deuce, scoring again, and played well. Solid effort, even when clearly gassed. Quality finish and created some chances.

-Donovan played the best 5 games I've seen him play, ever. Full credit to him. He was a beast.

-I'd really like for someone to push Howard. I'm not convinced.

Alright then. Let's keep this going in CONCACAF. This is the kind of experience that could vault us over the top at Azteca. Azteca won't scare us after the stretch of the last two weeks.

Their first goal really killed us. I don't think we played it terribly leading up to Luciano receiving the ball, then Spector was right there and was unlucky enough to reach too far to deflect, and the shot was good enough to beat Howard. After that, they had new life.

Like USS mentioned, Bradley needed to bring on some fresh legs sooner than he did. And we really missed Mike, so screw you Larriondo or whatever your name is.

Landon's a fantastic two footed player. Uli Hoeness can suck a dick. He lost a fan of his team with me. I hope Landon goes to Spain. Wherever he goes, that'll be my team.

At the very least, we should get four more wins out of the last five matches. There's no reason noe to after playing like they did the last two games. The only question mark is the Azteca since we already played at the Saprissa, and even that one shouldn't be considered a guaranteed loss at this point. We might lose, but we shouldn't assume that we're going to lose.

Truth. With some rest for some guys, and hopefully some emerging depth this month at the GC, I think we can win there.

Definitely. As I mentioned during the game, Jozy looked completely gassed after about 65 minutes or so. He worked hard when he was in there, routinely checking back to get outlet passes and trying to hold onto the ball. But he had nothing left at that point.

2-0 going in at the half, you knew Brasil would come out firing. It we could have lasted through the first 5 minutes, I think they get frustrated and press.

We just ran out of gas. The back 4 looked completely rattled for the final 20, and a lot of that was the failure of central midfield to hold the ball. Which might have been different with Mikey/Clark and then Benny coming in.
