Maybe Dusty will finally put Murton and his .298 avg/.365 obp in the number two hole in the lineup.

What?! And take Izturis and his .250 AVG/.310 OBP out of the two hole? Blasphemy!

It just kills me that Dusty really thinks speed equals OBP...I mean is he really this stupid or is he just very stubborn? Seriously what is it with this guy...

It's a mute point anyway because Murton will sit today. He had a good game yesterday therefor he will be rewarded with the bench.

Surprise! Surprise! Murton's starting today! Jones is hitting 3rd though for some odd reason.

Makes perfect sense. Take one of the best offensive players in the league and drop him in the 6th spot right behind JOHN MABRY!?!? Thank Jebus Izturis is still in the 2 spot.

The only solution is to bat him fourth.

The only thing I can think of is Kim's splits.

Against right: .271/.306/.398

Against left: .313/.408/.497

Of course that doesn't explain Neifi very well-even though he can bat left handed, he's been pretty terrible from the left side of the plate this year. It may explain the way the order is structured though-although it is still a head scratcher.

Oh, definitely-it's not as there is a much better option on the roster. If they are all terrible though, I'd prefer Cedeno or Theriot to get the start at this point. It's not something that I'm worried about whatsoever-it's not like one start a week is going to be the difference between those two players developing or not though.

Could it be that Dusty is helping out Cedeno and Theriot by sitting them against a submariner who is very tough against righties? I'd much rather see Cedeno or Theriot any day but maybe it's better if they're going to sit, that they sit today.
