Gonna throw my two sense in here for what its worth.

I think as Cubs fans we are too hell-bent on tradition.

I mean..what proud history do we want to hold on to? A near century of

complete fulility and failure?

I mean (explative deleted by moderator), you could assemble a team each year for a hundred years

simply by throwing darts, and you would probably have more playoff appearences than the Cubs have given us.

We need to kill tradiiton IMO.

A. New Statdium

B. Get rid of guests 7th inning stretch crap

C. Put a stop to throwing the ball back after hr.

I agree, guest conductors and throwing back homeruns are what is holding this team back. We are so close guys!

we're only 10 GB in the wildcard

Make that 9.5

That font size is really annoying.

I mean really. I am SO tired of copying and pasting just to read a post.

I don't like the guest conducter BS, but it has nothing to do with what goes on on the field.

The homer thing is great --- somewhat of an attitude, if you will.

Now, tearing down Wrigley. . .. an argument could be made that it could spur the Cubs to get their act together and put a good product on the field.

We should tear down Wrigley and make them earn a new stadium.

Start with a field. Install 400 seats after every win.

I agree, we all know Wrigley is where the real "curse" lies. :P

Although that still doesn't explain the damn black cat at Shea in 69'. :x

Wow my eyes started to water watching that. Even though the Cubs stink this year I'm proud to be part of this wonderful fan base. Hopefully it will happen in our lifetime because THAT would be a site to behold.

That was bittersweet for me. I spent all season watching on satellite or listening on the internet. Saturdays were the only problem because of the stupid blackout rules, and east coast Fox affiliates never showed Cubs games. I went to a sports bar with lots of tvs to try and see this one, and it wasn't on. I had to follow on my freaking phone that day.
