This is only the second time all season that the CUBS have hit 4 HRs in a game.

 

Last time, Sun 02 July vs white sox (5 Hrs)

How many times have Cub pitchers given up 4 or more home runs?

 

CUBS are 1-9 when they allow 4 or more home runs.

i'm glad hill's going back out for the 7th, but i'm afraid dusty's going to leave him out there too long in the name of saving his bullpen (which is, of course, pointless) and he'll end up tiring and ending the outing on a bad note. at least he has the lower third coming up...

I'm kind of surprised that he's going to be out there in the 7th, even with only 88 pitches. I'd just get him out with a good outing.the quality start.

Yeah, that would probably be the smart descision. Let him reflect on his good outing.
