How has Hill looked tonight? His control looks decent from gameday, is he still sitting 91-92 with his FB? Is his curve any good tonight?

bump fo all of us w/no TV coverage

Just about all fastball, which is sitting around 91 right now. It's been 89-93 throughout the game. He has thrown very, very few curve balls and obviously hasn't established it yet. It doesn't look that good, but better than last time out.

Wow, Hill's line looks pretty decent. Has he actually pitched well tonight, or is his line deceiving? Edited by Mizzou

Pierre with a home run swing. Unfortunately the ball was to mid right field.

He's been eating his Wheaties. :)

I really hope I see him hit one more home run this year. I didnt see him hit his other, I only saw the replay. I'd imagine people had the same reaction as to when Paul Bako hit his only home run with the Cubs in 2004.

juan pierre's lone cub home run: June 28th, 2006. my birthday, and my first cubs game. 8)

at first i just thought i'd missed his at bat and walker had hit it.

I was working and heard the update on the radio. The guy said it twice just so all the listeners heard correctly.

Well Jones played that one nicely.

Details, plz, for those who are just a smidge out of CSN Chicago's range.

I think it hit the vines then it bounced way back into the feild and jones had to chase it, but pierre got to it first. (I was half asleep and am just now waking up. Saw the replay)

Double off the right field wall, Jones was going for it but got caught too clsoe to the wall and the ball kicked over his head after it hit the wall.

Pierre was backing him up on the play and threw it in.
