Raisin, since you do the matchups everyday and I'm often too lazy to look up anything beyond that, how about more BB/K ratios on the pitchers?

Gracias... :)

Will do when I get home from work (it's on my laptop), which won't be till 8 pm PDT. The reason I added all of Pawelek's splits was because his MiLB.com stat line is wrong.

I'll chime in and say THANKS, RAISIN! for adding the player name links! :D

No prob. :)

watching the webcast of the boise game brings two thoughts into my head:

Lincecum is really, really good.

Pawelek has a strange delivery. I hadn't seen it before.

Pavlik actually got the start for West Tenn, not Mateo. It looks like he's responded well to it though, so far he's gone 7IP 3H 0R 3/1 K/BB 5/13 GO/FO

pawelek is done after 5 innings of solid work. his line- 5ip, 2h, 4k's, 1 walk.

I watched the game over the internet, and I must say he looked very good. The announcer said he was 94-96 the whole game as well. He mixed in a nice shart curve ball, and a change every now and then. He also threw what looked to be a cutter. I love his delevory with his arm action on just whipping at the hitters. His era is now in the 2.5's I believe, so it is very nice to see he is settleing in.

Finally, some good news today. Hopefully Pawelek shows up to spring training in shape next year.

94-96? That's great. It's been a while since there's been a velocity report.

94-96 is what the boise announcer said, and it looked pretty dang nasty comming out of pawelek's arm slot.

That's roughly where he should be, although 96 might be a little high. I seem to recall him topping out around 94 or 95, but sitting mostly in the 92-94 range. Glad he looked good.

Iowa lost 4-0. Felix Pie with 0 for 3 with a walk and 2 strikeouts. Fontenot went 0 for 1 with 3 walks. O'Malley went 7 and gave up 4 earned.

The Mesa Cubs beat up on the AZL Rangers, 8-2. Marco Carillo got the start and went 3 shutout innings. Rundle with another 2-hit game and no strikeouts. His BA is over the Mendoza line (.212). Andersen went 1 for 3 with a walk. Gilbert hit a HR.

Scott Moore and Jake Fox homered in the Jaxx's 5-2 win today. In Pavlik's first start, he went 7IP 4H 2R 3/2 K/BB and he got his first win. Campusano got the save going 2IP 1H 3/2 K/BB.
