Hendry trying for Tejada?

Today's Tribune hints that Hendry might be trying to broker a 3-way deal basically sending Maddux to the Dodgers for Izituris and Izituris plus prospects from the Dodgers and Cubs going to the Orioles for Tejada. Obviously there must be other players (or cash) involved between the Cubs and Dodgers, but it sounds promising if it's true.

I read the column this morning - it sounds like complete conjecture by Rogers (shocking, I know). Its such a long shot that I wouldn't even think twice.

I'd do Hill and Pie for Tejada simply because I don't think the Cubs will ever give Hill a chance and Pie for Tejada is a good deal.

I don't mind the idea of the trade, but I'm not sure where Tejada would play...He cannot be a shortstop anymore....If the trade Aram maybe he could play thirdbase......He's done as a shortstop....(just like Nomar)

How is he done at shortstop? I don't pay attention to Baltimore/Tejada all that much, and since Ronny sucks, I figure Miguel can't be that much worse.

How is this the case? Mind you I have not seen Tejada play in person and I typically won't watch them on EI, but I have never heard any analyst say he was done at SS.

Why wouldn't you just keep Walker instead of Izturis? That is, if Walker is willing to re-sign. Izturis is BAD, no matter what Steve Stone says.

Personally..I dont think Walker is happy here.
