Since you didn't graduate high school, allow us to do the math: $2.5 million per save. Not quite the $6 million the Dodgers paid Darren Dreifort per win, but impressive nonetheless.

Every so often when my dad is bugging me about the Cubs I'll ask him who the Dodgers got in return for Pedro Martinez. He just shakes his head every time. Not quite the same as 97 years of futility but it usually shuts him up.

The J.D. Drew signing hasn't been too bad either. Jeff Kent was awesome last year for them, but has had to deal with injuries this year.
