Scott Williamson on the SCORE right now. Good interview, he is talking about how Dusty plays the guys he has confidence in to the detriment of other players. Very diplomatically did not call them "Dusty's Favorites" but guys that Dusty has confidence in. Basically said that Matt Murton is getting a raw deal and should be allowed to work through his slump while playing every day. Also just said he expects to be traded so I think he is being totally honest trying to grease the wheels. Just said he hopes to be traded

I heard that interview too, i was pretty surprised at some of the things he was saying. I'm pretty sure that Williamson has pitched his last inning as a cub after that interview.. You can tell he's not very happy here.

btw, Scott Williamson is my hero.

Geez, this is turning into a very public train wreck in the clubhouse if Williamson is saying those things. Williamson is gone soon in a bad deal sadly because Hendry will confuse him for a trainer that was truthful with him. :?

OMG, does Murton get to play?!?!

/tears of joy

This is cause for celebration. GO WHITE SOX! BEAT THE LIVING HELL OUT OF THIS TEAM AND DESTROY DUSTY!!!

I think he may be gone regardless of today's result, but an embarrassment is always more fun to watch, plus Hawk on national TV slamming the Cubs is gonna be really sweet. I happen to dislike the direction of the Cubs recently, so I'll listen for the barbs and enjoy the NASCAR plus moonshine flavor that is a Sox broadcast.

Todd Walker said essentially the same thing Wednesday before the game on the Radio Pre-game show. Sounds like dissention in the clubhouse.

Our top two hitters have OBP's of .272 and .209 respectively against LHP, worse than any other hitter in the lineup(Even Neifi is at .304!).

OBP, schmo-BP

These guys are FAST! Have you see 43 run out his signature grounder to 2nd?

Why on earth is Murton batting behind Pagan?

he's a lefty dude and he's got speed which obviously does not slump dude

Dusty actually looked up Jones' stats and saw that he has a .620 OPS against lefties this year.

Ha, just kidding. He only saw that he's 1-27 against Buehrle lifetime.

Interestingly enough...... in the last 15 games, Pierre has gotten on base 25 times, but has only 1 stolen base.

Sign that man to an extension, not Dusty. I don't blame him though, I wouldn't be surprised if we hear more comments like this from other players. Everybody is starting to realize that Dusty Baker as manager is all about smoke and mirrors. It's a mirage, and he is the most overrated manager, no question.

Did anyone notice that, in the "comeback retrospective," NONE of the games were announced by Chip and Steve, and all the games were announced by Hawk and DJ?

Is it just coincidence that all the games were announced by the Sox guys, or did 'GN decide to go to that much of an extreme to not have Chip/Stone on the air again?

I think it's because those 2 are doing the game today, so it's focused towards Sox fans since Cub fans in Chicago or with EI can see it on CSN.

They did show Cubs comebacks, though (and actually ended it with a Cubs comeback win-that'll be good for at least 4-5 calls into sportstradio about how "everybody favors the Cubs."). And they did have Johnny Miller's call for the Cubs walk-off-walk from ESPN.

Its entirely possible its a coincidence-I just thought it was weird.
