How about a new rule from Dusty that if you are on the DL, you don't dress in your uniform and you don't sit in the dugout. You are not a part of the team at that time. Go sit in the pressbox and free up some room.

 

I noticed that Glendon(Spahn) Rusch helped carry Womack to the training room on Saturday night. Funny that no one else stepped up and helped Womack off the field-Dusty had to do it. Maybe that rumor about factions within the Cubs is true. Kerry was too busy munching on sunflower seedsand checkinghis 401-K.

Well, I have an issue with this myself. If you are going to use the lame excuse that his back is bothering him, the least they can do is make it look good. Having Rusch carry a guy off the field isn't making it look good. Instead, it looks just as bad as every other decision this team has made so far this year.
