I am thoroughly enjoying the Len and Bob "life of a baseball" show.

You wanna give us some highlights for those of us listening to the radio ?

Len and Bob are so sure that the Cubs will do nothing exciting when batting that their tracking th lifespans of various baseballs used during the game, and are detailing which bags they come out of and go into, and which of those bags end up being batting practice balls for the following day.

They stopped last inning, though.

Hell of a lot more exciting than Santo's recollections of breaking in at Forbes Field against the Pirates in 1960.

Apparently the average lifespan of a major league baseball is 5 pitches, but during Nevin's last AB it was 1 pitch, as Nevin continuously fouled balls off, and his black bat apparently leaves marks on the ball.
