To be fair - even if he put up those numbers for the last 3 months (63 ABs), it wouldn't have made a great deal of difference in our W total.

Think we could be anything at all for him in a trade. Hes not worth much to most teams but he might be able to get us an ok prospect. At least then we could get a look at Soto or another of the young Cs

He's a FA at the end of the season, so if anyone needs a veteran catcher for the stretch, we should deal him. I'm not sure what teams that matches up with, but I'm sure Hendry could get a toolsy A-ball prospect that is repeating the level.

If you are getting on base via base hits, with little or no walks, HBP's, or errors, then your BA could be higher than your OBP, no?

I think it breaks down to:

 

12 hits / 20 ABs = .600 AVG (12/20)

12 hits + 1 BB / 20 ABs + 1 BB + 1 SF = .591 OBP (13/22)
