What I love is that Prior threw 39 pitches in the first inning. Rogers is at 35 through 3 innings. Our offensive approach is incredible.

Dude, baseball's all about being aggressive at the plate!

LOL...Prior leaves with a season ERA of around 13.5. On the plus side it will most likely go down IF he makes another start this year.

17.18 !! Sheesh !

My bad. Math wasn't my strong suit.

Ugly catch by Jones.

That Sheesh was aimed at Prior, not you.

No problem. That's the way I took it. Is that ERA correct with 7 earned runs? One of the runs was unearned.

Do the Cubs lead the league in solo shots?

You would think occasionally a runner would be on base.

I doubt it. They don't hit enough to lead the league but they probably lead the league in percentage of homeruns that are solo.

Why do I know the following conversation has taken place

Dusty: Sit down, Big Murt. I understand that you've been taught to hit the ball the other way......and that's a good thing. There's a time for that. But to stay up here with the big boys you NEED to pull the ball and display some power. This team doesn't have a lot of power, so we need it from you. Now get out there and start swinging.

Matt: But....er........okay.

This loss will put us on pace for a 62-100 season. Great job guys! BTW, We haven't lost 100 in a season since the 60's. This might be the worst Cubs team in 40 years, and that says a lot.
