You'll be gratified to hear he also talked about having to make a decision between Guzman and Marmol (hard to hear since he was practically mumbling at this point). In other words, instead of tossing Glendon the Hutt out on his rear, one of those icky AAA/AA guys will be sent back down.

I heard it too. I'm paraphrasing here, but he said that he has received many letters and faxes saying how they enjoy listening to Pat and Ron despite the atrocious team. He went on to say that you have to hand it to Cub fans for sticking by this team even though they are very angry. He also said the fans have the absolute right to be angry.

 

Then later he also spoke about Pierre and did mention that he gets to the ballpark early and works hard, but it just hits a point where he needs to be on the bench.
