Please tell me that wasn't Samardzija I just saw being interviewed.

It was. He threw a bullpen session this morning.

Although maybe its not a good idea to have him working with Wood, Prior, and Miller in the bullpen.....

Switch Barrett for Blanco and this is as close as Dusty has come to putting out the correct line up in months.

Polanco doubled to the wall in center field, Granderson to third

Wasn't he on 2nd? How did he not score?

Decided not to test Juan Pierre's fearsome arm, since it looked routine at first.

Made the terrible mistake of thinking Juan might actually make a play and tagged up.

It looked like Pierre was going to make the catch so he started to tag.

No Bob, against this team, Jim Leyland would be a freaking idiot to waste outs.

Which is why those who keep calling for Brenly to manage the team should pick someone else to support.

Couldn't tell if the ball would be caught or not.

He still could have scored from 2nd even if Juan caught the ball.

Geez, play all the outfielders on the warning track. The way Granderson runs the bases he could play for the cubs. I do believe Rusch will be partaking of the clubhouse buffet in just a few minutes.
