I didn't see Dustys reaction or anything, but the quick hook and the patheticness of his start, I could see it happening.

 

I'll give them credit, they did eventually DFA Macais, Borowski and Remlinger in the past.

He'll finally be DFA'd after he's allowed twice as many runs as IP.

That's what irks me. We ALL knew Guzman was a better choice. Let's see. Rusch Sucks - Guzman has had some struggles but has been way better than rusch. Rusch will always suck, Guzman could be in the Cubs future, Rusch is not.

 

Rusch, unfortunately, is going to be involved in the Cubs immediate (next week), near-term (the rest of the season) and medium-term (next season) future.

 

I knew someone was going to say that. But you know what I meant according to "future". .
