Jones doubled to the right field corner

And stranded

 

I wish it were possible for the Cubs to begin every inning with a runner at third, just for experiment' sake. How many runs would they score?

With the Tigers ahead of this team by miles, it'll take a couple (hundred) innings for the Cubs to get even with them.
