You can only complain about the officiating so much, neither of those goals would have been scored if they would have taken care of the ball and done a decent job of clearing it.

Good point (same can be said for the U.S. goal), but that doesn't change the fact the penalty kick should never have happened.

frustrating that the goals are from a HUGE, HUGE brain fart and a non-existent penalty. as bad as a call that was, boca should have dealt with it earlier.

 

that being said, i think i love clint dempsey. and that was a great ball by beasley.

i'd like to see EJ start the second half, maybe for lewis and jump-start our attack.

Oh I know it, I'm not trying to diminish that. Just that two big mistakes on our own end (like you said, three when you include Ghana's) have led to all of the scoring.
