Houston has the 2nd worst team ERA in the national league, trailing only the Brewers. So of course they're going to shut us down 2 of the 3 games. Edited by E.J.

I'm not sure how many of you are watching the ESPN broadcast, but Stone quoted Berkman as saying that Kerry has to be pitching with a good deal of pain judging by what he was heaving up to the plate last night.

We certainly didn't need for Berkman to make this statement to know that Kerry is far from 100%, but hearing this from an opposing batter is very telling.

Heard that and yes, it is telling and very interesting.

I jsut got home amd the ESPN broadcast is blacked out in Chicago. Has Stone said anything of particular interest? Has he been critical or overly critical? Edited by RonnieWooWooSanto

LOL...after Eyre's fundamental mistake (not covering first), ESPN focused the camera on Dusty Baker. The camera angle was such that Dusty could be seen only between the batter's legs. I'm not certain if the symbolism was intended, but I was amused. Edited by fiver
