So now you're stalking me?

from afar.

Should I be worried?

Just don't go into the dark alleys and you should be alright.

Dammit, how did you know I was in the alley?

Maybe Culp will fall to #149. I tend to doubt it, but maybe.

Does this mean you guys think I'm Cedric Bozeman based on my avatar?

People that change their avatar too much don't qualify. :P

Yeah I still think of California as looking like Corey Patterson.

Same height...played CF in high school...

I think you're really that chick in the middle of your sig

Is that ND kid Schmzalphabet still out there?

He came off the board at pick #149.

Unless the Bears are allowed to use pick 149, I would rather draft someone who will be playing pro baseball.

I'm starting to think that the Cubs won't take Smarjzdia in the 5th round. With Wilken's comment about getting "creative" in round 5 and beyond it doesn't seem to fit.

So far:

33. Giants (for Type A Scott Eyre) - SS Emmanuel Burris, Kent State

39. Indians (for Type A Bob Howry) - LHP David Huff, UCLA

57. Indians (for Type A Howry) - 2B Josh Rodriguez, Rice

89. Giants (for Type A Eyre) - LHP Clayton Tanner, De La Salle HS (CA)

119. Twins (for Type B Jones)

I would think that would fit under the creative category.

That Stephen King kid that we were projected to possibly draft just got drafted by the Nationals

And promptly wrote a crappy horror novel about his draft day experience and a dog that had human thumbs.

It seems to be a rather common notion that we'll take him so it'd be expected or not very creative IMO. I see the bait and switch coming on.

But he said creative is not the oppositve of expected. People might be expecting them to take the guy exactly because they know with no 2-4 the Cubs need to be creative.

Why in the world his parents would name him after the author I have no idea.

Jesus the kids in this draft are young. 1987? Holy crap

there's more than a couple from '88 in there.

I'm in a weird "feeling old" age. I'm not yet old enough to be president, but I'm older than most pro atheletes

I still remember seeing my first Playmate born in the 80's, that was awkward.

Me too.

I'm happier not looking at birthdates. I don't like to wallow in the negatives like you people.

I'm realizing that I'm posting player info on each of the Cardinal's picks on the SC Spikes message board but I'm the only one in there. Does posting in an empty message board constitue talking to one's self?

Same for me - guys like Ben Gordon and Luol Deng are younger than me. And Cedric Benson is 4 days older than me.

Of course, I"m still just 23.
