Pie batting 7th for Iowa again tonight. He's been scuffling lately. His average is down to .265.

Prior has 3IP 1H 2K/0BB thus far according to MiLB. He's faced 10 batters but there is no pitch count.

There's a thread in Game Threads you can check out for the details to Prior's night.

5IP, 3H, 1ER, 5K, 0BB, 59 pitch mostly 86-89mph topping at 90 a couple of times

Prior is finishing his pitches in the bullpen, he is done.

Nate said he looked much, much sharper than last time.

Brownlie threw 5 innings of shutout ball tonight  Jaxx lead 3-0 in the 7th.

Iowa down 1-0 in the bottom of the 6th. Pie has 2 hits. Soto and Deardorff each had fly balls that were caught just shy of the wall according to MiLB Gameday. Deardorff's fly is even past the fence on gameday.

Peoria down 2-0 in the 8th.

Daytona has come back to tie Fort Myers at 4 in the 7th.

Has anyone else noticed how much Dylan Johnston is getting on base?? He only has a .205 ish average, but he's getting on base at a .340 clip. Not bad to see from a 19 year old playing his first full season.

Guzman so far: 6 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 2 BB. 4 K, 83 ptiches - 47 strikes

1 run isn't bad consider that the leadoff man has reached for Oklahoma 4 times in 6 innings.

I liked his glove when I saw him too.

Guzman's night is done after the two out error on Fontenot allowed a run to score. Williams is in. Angel is on the hook for two more, but they'd be unearned runs if they scored.

6.2 IP, 7 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 4 K, 2 WP, 99 pitches - 56 strikes

He was in trouble all game long and probably didn't have his best stuff. Still effective, though.

Restovich goes deep for Iowa. Solo shot. Iowa still losing 2-1. First run they've scored in something like 14 innings.

Peoria lost 2-0. They had several chances to get back in the game and score some runs, but the offense just was not there tonight.

Daytona won in a come-from-behind win, 7-5. Daytona trailed 4-1 and 5-4, but they scored 3 in the 8th and Adalberto Mendez picked up his 12th save of the season. Fuld had an RBI single that scored the tying run in the 8th and Jemel Spearman had an RBI single that scored 2 to give Daytona the lead.

Jaxx won 4-0. Brownlie got the win, Atlee pitched 3 innings of 1 hit ball, and Rapada pitched a 1-2-3 9th while striking out the side. EPatt was 2/4 with a double, a run, and an RBI. Dope was 0/3 with a walk and an RBI.

Iowa cuts the lead down to 2-1 after Restovich hit his 9th homer of the season to lead off the 8th.

Rusch winning a game for the Cubs, Brownlie pitching a shutout (with help). The end of the world is surely at hand. :D

THE RIOT was 4-4 with a BB!

Pie 2-4 with a double and no K.

Too bad there is really no room for THE RIOT on the roster.
