Ex-Cubs farmhand Justin Jones (1-0, 0.68 ERA) is scheduled to start for Ft. Myers vs. Daytona tonight.

Not sure why he was demoted from AA New Britain, where he was doing pretty well (2-2, 3.25 ERA, 29/15) to high-A Ft. Myers.

I can't pull up the article any longer, but a google news search coughed up this tidbit:

To make room for Garza, the Rock Cats sent lefthander Justin Jones (1-2, 2.61 ERA in four starts) to Fort Myers.

Matt Garza was promoted from Ft. Myers.

Garza is one of Minnesota's top prospects and was well-deserving of his promotion. Still don't understand why Justin was demoted, coulda sent someone else down!!

Yes. I know someone who stockpiled Garza Bowman Chrome auto rookie cards, which are going for $50+ on EBay since his promotion.
