I mean those were the 2 worst in recent memory, this team looks worse.

too bad tickets are non-refundable. I feel totally scammed by the cubs.

No, I don't think this team is as bad as either of those two. Those teams had like 4 or 5 bad AAA players getting a lot of playing time.

with the payroll what it is, yes, this is the most disappointing(other than the end of 03, which will stand by itself forever).

I don't think this Cubs team is worse, but I think with the high expectations and high payroll that this team is a much bigger disappointment. And hopefully soon Dusty will stop just making excuses and call this team out.

C4L hit it right on the head. 99 and 2000 were worse, but this team is worse comparative to their expectations and their payroll than maybe any Cubs team of the last 15 or so years (save perhaps 2002).
