Anyone else frustrated with the Cubs?

Here's what I had to say on our woes on another board that I contribute to:

 

As a Cub fan myself, I even admit this is a trying season. We had the annual Kerry Wood/Mark Prior preseason visit to the DL, D-Lee out for two months, no one really stepping up for D-Lee, and the Barrett Brawl last weekend :shakes head: I know Wood or Prior has little trade value, but maybe we could get something for him.

No, nobody else is frustrated with the Cubs.

I could not be more delighted. Only 3 more losses to match the magic 18-32 start of the '05 Astros, at which point the Cubs will instantly turn into the National League Champions.

 

Seriously, even if it was possible do we really want to become the '05 Astros? It would mean getting swept by the White Sox in the World Series. :x

 

Oh, I think Neifi Perez is vastly underpaid and should get a $10 million bonus immediately for his mere greatness alone.

At least some of these ways they are finding to lose are providing some entertainment...like Neifi being able to make 2 errors on the same play and letting a guy score from 2nd on a flyout...i thought that was pretty impressive
