Think on the bright side. Hendry is looking for a winning streak so he can extend Baker. But there's not going to be one, so he can't.

 

Hopefully MacPhail will finally realize what a mistake it was to extend Hendry, and buy him out. Throw both of these guys out, they've both done a poor job.

 

Eating salary for the Tribune is like eating salad for you & I. Sure, you'd rather have steak but the veggies aren't all that bad and they might improve your health later on :wink:

Well, there are going to be the Jay Marriotti-types who claim that Corey was never going to play well here because his problems were all mental.

Interesting article. Hopefully everyone in this town will turn on Baker at once. When the calls grow that loud, it's gonna be hard to offer to Baker because even the most ignorant fan will read everyone calling for Baker's head and will fall in line.

patterson is doing pretty well he has had a few real bad baserunning mistakes but It does show that baker runied him by forcing him to lead off.
