Baker has been the worst thing to EVER happen to the Cubs. This club had all the potential and players and Baker's management has been awful.

He's screwed up Prior and Woody's arms, Screwed up Patterson, screwed up the fundamentals, not shown players consequences for being fundamentally poor, brought an awful hitting philosophy to the team, not known how to manage pitchers worth a lick, not known how to make a reasonable lineup ever. And all of this during our most promising time in many many years.

Am I missing anything.

"Demerits: Somehow has been able to convince two venerable franchises to buy into his big-papa-bear act and gasp with awe as he steers 94-win talent to 86 victories. ... Won't play anyone under the age of 26. ... Consistently leaves his starters in the game 20 pitches too long. ... Apparently believes OBP stands for "organized batting practice.'' ... Guys like Tony La Russa approach the late innings like a chess match; Dustbag approaches them like a game of Connect Four.

First time in 120 years we've been swept in a season series I believe.

If that doesn't earn you a pink slip in the midst of a massive losing streak, I don't know what does.

The Cubs have never been swept in a seven game series and SD has never swept anyone. Is this history in the making?

Future trivia question?

After Green's AB, I'm going to go out on a limb and say yes.

Whoo HOo!!!

Dusty! Yeah, show some fire!

The camera did catch him weakly tossing a ball to the ground in the dugout. That was his idea of FIRE! and INTENSITY!

"At least they're not fighting out there anymore" - Len Kasper referring to couple of girls that were lightsaber fighting earlier, but it goes for the Cubs too.

I think we are going to see a lot of first times and broken futile records this season.
