Giving an extension to Hendry was a pretty stupid idea. Only a matter of time until Hendry gives Baker his extension..Then again, who wants to manage the Cubs.

the good - pierre was on base 4 out of 5 times. his obp's over .300, i think. also, rusch pitched 2 scoreless mop-up innings.

 

the bad - rich hill & 21 LOB's. there's been lots of griping about lack of walks, but what this team really needs is another power hitter. there's only 2 sufficient power hitters on the team.
