Perez (backup infielder), Rusch (long man in the bullpen), Jones (baserunner extraordinaire) and Pierre (who will play better once the thermostat hits 90 degrees) make a combined $15 million plus this year - and that doesn't fully account for Jacque's signing bonus, I don't think.

So what could we have done with that $15 million - not to mention having Mitre, Nolasco, and Pinto at our disposal (for a trade or otherwise).

The Aramometer now straddles the Mendoza line at .205. What a wonderful waste of 11m a year.

How i hope he exercises his option out of Chicago next year.

Ohman is solid waste maybe.

Koronka was out of options i do believe. He was drafted in 1998 and traded to the Cubs in 2000 for Phil Norton. He then went onto the 40 man to be protected from the Rule V. That would make 2005 his last season for the 2nd round of Options.

he was not out of options

I don't get how it seems like the only power hitters from AA up are Lee and Ramirez. No power on the bench, little to no power in AAA and AA. Pretty bad organization for the most part.

I am not talking about the 3 up and 3 down rule. I am talking about the 3 year rule on the 40.

Didn't we use to have the problem of TOO much power reliance?

Now we just suck balls.

so when you say he was out of options, you're not actually referring to options. Ok...

I love how Kruk was talking about the Reds on BBT.

He said the reason they're winning now is because they now have more ways to score instead of relying on power.

The Reds, of course, are tied for 3rd in MLB in homeruns.

untill he goes on a hot streak, hits 400+ for a month and everyone will forget this. id much rather have Aram playing 3rd than Perez

Everyone is screaming for Pierre's and Jones' combined heads yet they are hitting 1/3rd to 1/2 a full point better than ARam.

I am just trying to spread the love.
