What percentage of times do you think JJ has swung at the first pitch?

It has to be way over 50%.

These numbers only include when he does something other than swing and miss, but with a 0-0 count, he has actually been very good -- 625/625/1125/1750

the cubs should score runs sometimes too then maybe if the pitcher forgot what he was doing and gave up more than one run we'd still have a chance

Methinks Guzman won't see his 3rd start for a while.

There are 12 more consecutive days of play after today.

Who would pitch in his place? Yo-yo Williams up again?

Guzman definitely needs to work on the wildness. He's got the stuff, but he's all over the place. Needs more time in AAA. Send him back down and bring back up Williams.

Holy Sh*t, we're winning?

We scored 4 runs?

Burnitz hit the ball, much less that it was a home run?

Wow.

He couldn't do worse.

I'd settle for Yo Yo Mah

Man, Guzman is really, really hit and miss.

He struck out the side but allowed a 2 run homer. I just don't get it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe 1.1 IP and 7 ER is worse than 3 IP and 4 ER.

Can I ask a question that might make me look dumb?

When referring to a pitcher, what exactly is "stuff"?

I guess that is two questions that make me look dumb.

Oh well.

You take DLee's big right-handed bat away, add in a slumping Aram, and the Cubs look real weak vs. LHP. We need another RH bat. Hopefully the real Aram shows up soon.

I always took it to mean velocity, movement, deception of the pitches.
