I don't know, but I can say out of the 6,825 ballots I've cast thus far...Dunn has been on every freaking one of them.

I dont see why they start voting for the All-Star game so soon. How are we suppose to know who is worthy of the vote 3 weeks into the season??

That's why I typically vote a homer ballot (or ballots...I think I'm over 8000 right now) early on and then refine it as it gets closer.

Out of curiousity, does MLB release voting info such as............

total number of votes cast

number of internet votes vs. paper ballot votes cast

number of votes for each player (including players receiving few votes)

amount of paper ballots collected per stadium

Vance, I am going to have to postpone my Cubs-voting until these bums start playing. Even Barrett, Cedeno, and Murton are starting to irritate me.

It's personally immoral for me to vote these guys in as the best in the league.

You might want to consider voting for Corey Patterson in the AL. 2 homers tonight and a game saving catch to rob a HR to end the game. His OPS is up to .843

Blah, AS voting sucks, the most deserving of the 4 Cubs infielders is the one that is not in the top 5 :x (I guess Walk probably deserves it more than Ronny)

CHICAGO -- Cubs infielders rank in the top five at every position except shortstop in the preliminary All-Star vote totals released Tuesday.

Even first baseman Derrek Lee, who has been on the disabled list since breaking his wrist on April 19, ranks fourth at his position with 131,359 votes. Lee was hitting .318 with three home runs and 10 RBIs before his injury.

Catcher Michael Barrett leads all Cubs in votes with 182,309 and is currently fifth at his position. Barrett is hitting .285 with six home runs and 24 RBIs this season.

Second baseman Todd Walker is fourth at his position, while third baseman Aramis Ramirez is fifth. Ronny Cedeno isn't far behind the top shortstops.

Voting for the 2006 All-Star Game ends June 29.

Whatever it is, I am very dissapointed that Barret who is one of the better offensive catchers in the game... and also having a good year should be leading the catchers is votes! but, NO he isnt, well maybe he should at least be top 3! whats up with this.. you vote for who is popular? come on this should be a vote for who is better and who will help the NL win? well guess the fans dont know what it takes to win! :x
