i just want to profess my love for murton while at the same time pointing out his constant use of the phrase "no doubt about it" during his interviews. matt did interviews with both ESPN and Comcast earlier in the season and used the phrase anywhere from 500-600 times in roughly 3 minutes. tonight when the Comcast guy talked to him, my roommate and i literally cheered when he said it, and then said it again.

someone with photoshop skills greater than mine should make that into a banner or something. "No doubt about it -- the orange guy rocks!"

He was the offense tonight, pretty much. Hell of a game for this kid. Hell of a season coming up for this kid.

You beat me to the thread punch!

Does he have a nickname yet? How about "Murton for Certain"? Seems to dovetail nicely from his overuse of the phrase "no doubt about it."

Bad news, Marshall just said in his postgame interview he's fortunate to be able to pick Glendon Rusch's brain. I hope he's referring to asking Rusch where to go for dinner.

Murtonium: It patiently waits and lies dormant until it kills you in a violent but awe-inspiring explosion of carnage

The Big Murt? ...no, that sucks...

The Step-Child? ...no, that also sucks...

For any final fantasy nerds out there...does the "murton" spell make more sense to all of you now?

I had a good one during the game, but it slips my mind at the time.

i don't know if you guys are familiar with the drink called the "red headed slut", but it's an oz. of peach schnapps, an oz. of Jager, and cranberry juice. definitely a fitting drink for murton.

Haha, how about "Red Bull". The TNT announcers have been trying to put that nickname on Andres Nocioni all playoffs, but he'll always be known as "El Chapu"

Murton's the best. I gotta post a picture of me in the photo thread, because many people I know say I look like him, without the red hair though.

How about "the big Murt"? But that sounds too much like the Big Skirt's nick.

My redheaded friend loves him for the sole reason of the color of his hair.
