  1. Where do you sit??
  2. this is a great question. for those who have season tickets, what types of packages are available? if i were offered a season ticket package, i'm sure i could get a group of friends together to help pay for them. i became a season ticket holder last year, section 403, left field corner. this year i moved, relocated to section 412, 8 rows back on the aisle. Each year if seats are available, you can have the chance to move if you want. i have a group of 10 guys total, and we have a ticket draft. then we snake thru the order. I have to say the 403 seats were good, not great. but im really happy with the view from 412... it looks to be a great place to catch a game....im opened for any questions anyone has....
  3. So with Aram, Johnson, and Guzman coming back, who do the cubs send down?? i hear lots of "he has options left"...well...what does that mean?? how many options does a player get?? im just curious... thanks----
  4. i will be at the game on the 4th, about 16 rows from the field down the 3rd baseline...i will post pics if anyone is interested.....
  5. it cost more for the ryno action figure than for the jerseys..... :-))
  6. anyone on the list?? im on the list and my number has not changed for 3 years....i called the cubs and they told me something like MLB controlls the wait list, and its on them....but they never give me an option on who to call....just wondering if anyone else had any expericence with this..... thanks--
  7. does anyone know his contract status?? and do the cubs resign him next year??? his numbers since joining the cubs have got to be pretty darn good.....just looking for some thoughts...
  8. So... since the players have covered for Lou's mistakes, he's excused for all of them? its easy to "arm chair" manage.....lous record this year, and over his career show that he knows what he is doing...im not trying to be mean, but hey, a win is a win, and if the cubs are in first, to me, im happy about it.....thats all im saying..... So Dusty Baker was a good manager in '03? '03??? Seriously I dont care about that ... I want the cubs to finally win now... So if dusty was good or bad in 2003 means nothing to me now....

  10. yeah...lou is a moron...the cubs deserve being in last place....oh...wait...the cubs are in FIRST place....never mind......
  11. wait a sec...what the heck is your buddy drinking with a straw in it....
  12. point taken..... Considering the Cubs managed to get value for such illustrious names like Todd Hundley, I think they could get a decent B-level prospect for Marquis. Plenty of teams are looking for innings eaters at SP.
  13. he ls gonna make 4.75 mill this year....he is contracted thru 2009 season i think....he is barely a .500 pitcher, so what can you realistically get for him???
  14. this is new-ish The Orioles' trade of Bedard would signal a major reconstruction. Another significant deal involving second baseman Brian Roberts likely would follow. The Cubs remain heavily interested in Roberts, and the Orioles could receive prospects such as pitcher Sean Gallagher and outfielder Felix Pie or veterans such as RHP Jason Marquis and outfielder Matt Murton. And the misspelling of "interested" is his. Link
  15. rumor is the cubs are bringing those back for 2008.......
  16. Marquis??? They do like Jon Lieber. They feel he can pitch well in Wrigley Field. Such a move, of course, would no doubt lead to further moves with a crowded rotation.
  17. when do we find out about the veterans????
  18. sorry if this is a repost----- according to Orioleshangout.com Reports: Roberts Traded to Cubs By: Tony Pente 1/9/2008 Orioleshangout.com has learned through several sources that the trade of All-Star second baseman Brian Roberts to the Cubs has been finalized. The early reports indicate that Orioles will get back 22-year old right-hander pitching prospect Sean Gallagher, 25-year old left-handed starting pitcher Sean Marshall, and 24-year old shortstop Ronny Cedeno. Update: An Orioles official has contacted the Hangout and denied this report and said "it is completely inaccurate." More to come as it develops.....
  19. He will be a free agent, i dont think he will resign with the same role....does he move to closer, being unproven in that role, or does he become a starter?? or does he say goodbye??
  20. whats an albatross??? is that a 'fancy name" for a bench player??? Yeah, because we really gave up a lot for those 2, who are essentially the backbone of the team. Where are Jose Hernandez and hee Sop Choi now? That's what I thought. Crikeys, go on a minor slump or miss a few games and all the sudden you're an albatross.
  21. i like murton, hes not nearly as good as soriano...40-40 last year, but hes good.....id keep him.....
  22. Just looking at her, I doubt we'd need that much time. 8-) http://rotoauthority.blogs.com/photos/uncategorized/dergan.jpg Tru that. Yeti's not first is he ;-). I better go last. I'm not about to contract anything new. i got enough pennicillin for everyone....she is a hottie!!
  23. so are you saying theres not a chance???? ;)
