    every year when the cubs play the sox, CTA puts out a poster that they give away at the redline stop, i was hoping someone could pick one up for me this year....i will gladly pay shipping and some extra...any help is appreciated.....

    i need 3....dang.....that would have been great.... thanks.... How many tickets will you be looking for. I have 2 tickets to that game I am trying to get rid of. My wife and I are going out to NY for a few days around then and we wanted to go to the game 5/16 so she started watching some auctions on eBay and I saw one about to end at a reasonable price so I bid on and won them. Then I realized they were for the 5/17 game instead of the 5/16 game. I would just ask what I paid for them if you are interested. They should be really good seats in the Field Box section down the first base line in 147 row A which should be just one or two rows off the field. Let me know if you are interested. Donnie

    anyone ever been?? where are the good seats and bad seats...i will be getting them from ebay or stubhub and i was wondering if anyone has any advice..... thanks---- will be going to the day game on 05/17

    you cant win the world series in april, but you can lose it in april....i have yet to see the powerful cubs bats, except for a few appearances, but im scared about the bullpen....and i wont even mention what IZ did today...3 errors ....i know its early and all that jazz.....but still, the astros limped into wrigley and so far they made the cubs look bad....

    how did prior do today?? his line looked ok.....no earned runs, but he got optioned to AAA......how fast did he throw?? did he use his curve alot?

    how fast was prior throwing a few years ago?? im not saying im in love with prior, but he has not pitched with any regularity for a while, it may take some time for him to get back to being good again....at least he is pitching in march which is an improvement since last year.....

    why are the veterns so blind...did he do something to tick them off in the past?? mike north on the score says that he was hated as a player, but i dont buy that...but what is the reason ronnie cant get it.... its a sad day in mudville....

    yeah, but not recently....i thought you would have to renew them by Jan 15th, so i was thinking that if we were to move up the list, we would know by now......i am in the 200's....i was hoping for them this year......but it doesnt look too promising....

    does anyone know when people will be notified that they can purchase season tix?? i mean that they are off the waiting list and able to be a season ticket holder...ive been the same number since last year and i dont believe that NO ONE has dumped thier tickets yet..... any ideas?

    Lee was out most of the season. Why focus on only two months of that time? In fact, Lee played the first half of April, so really you're talking about one and a half months of the season and using that to dismiss the need for the Cubs to hold on to their most productive offensive player over the last three years because all you "remember is him dogging it and slacking." Sound reasoning. Ramirez in 2006: April: 71 ABs; .197/.321/.394 (Derrek Lee had 44 ABs) May: 109 ABs; .266/.296/.495 (Lee had zero ABs) June: 105 ABs; .276/.325/.476 (Lee had 22 ABs) July: 96 ABs; .344/.414/.750 (Lee had 53 ABs) August: 111 ABs; .333/.400/640 (Lee with 12 ABs) September: 98 ABs; .306/.346/.551 (Lee had 44 ABs) Ramirez was VERY productive. He played in the most games of his career and he improved greatly on defense. Oh, I guess he's just a "second tier" guy though because of the few grounders he didn't bust ass down the line on. IMO he is a 2nd tier guy because when the cubs needed him, he was invisable....according to some in sports radio, he even asked to be moved down in the line up.... maybe he has been the most productive offensive player in the last 3 years, but remind me, what did the cubs win in 2004, 2005, and 2006?? i want all the players to play 100% him included....

    Just to play devil's advocate, you don't know how DLee would have performed if ARam broke his wrist and had to miss the same time that DLee did. And frankly losing either of those two players this year would have been a HUGE blow since the rest of the team wasn't very good. ARam can only control the hitting aspect. ARam wasn't responsible for the Cubs having the 24th best ERA in the year or for the Cubs giving up the fifth most runs in the league. Nobody was producing, that includes pitchers as well, early in the year when DLee went down. i agree....Aram will get the big dollars, i just wish he would not dogg it when he doesnt feel like it....i want him to try hard, like D-Lee in 2005, even though the cubs were stinking it up, he still was the best out there, and i cant say i feel the same about Aram....when then going got tough, he played lazy....IMO

    is it just me, or dont any of you remember how Aram picked up the slack when D-Lee got hurt?? all i remember is him dogging it and slacking?? I dont think he deserves D-Lee money, he's not a D-lee type player, hes a second tier guy, not a team leader, which he proved when Lee got hurt...so im not too sad that he opted out...do i want him back? yeah if he starts to hustle, if not, i wont be too sad if he goes....
