I must have missed the memo that DB was now the GM. DB didn't acquire Bynum, Hendry did.

Thing is, I remember an interview where Hendry was nearly gushing over this guy. Has he lost all sense of reality? Surely we have AA and AAA players who are better than him.

Didn't we already have Angel Pagan?

 

Maybe I'm crazy, but a right-handed bat with pop off the bench might be better than a guy so similar to what we already have.

Yeah, while I'm aware of that, he wasn't on the DL when we traded for Bynum.

 

It's nice to have one Pagan-type on the team, but it's not a good use of the roster to have two guys with duplicate abilities.

Pagan was a five tool player who was starting to put it together before he got hurt.. Bynum still has some time in my back before I toss him into the scrap heap
