Len mentioned earlier in this game that the last time Maddux won his first four starts was in 2000 with the Braves. Not sure who is right.

I think it depends on the situations and I think Cedeno can handle those situations. Yes, at times he needs to work a count but he has to be able to get on base too.

I think it's because he's seeing the ball well. We'll see how he does OBP wise when he slumps.

BTW, on my way to work I was listening to the XM feed and it was the Cards radio. Who are those guys? The PBP guy kept calling Maddux, Maddocks. VERY annoying

That's exactly what they said. Never straight 4 wins, there were no decisions in 2000. I think the total was 7 total starts at 4-0.
