Baker believes that only CF, 2B and SS's can hit 1st or second. I do think Ronny could be a decen 2 though.

Nope, I just saved a bunch of money on my bullpen insurance by switching to Ronny. :)

i don't think his hitting style fits the 2 hole with Pierre leading off. he spoils a lot of pitches and doesn't take many. it's pretty hard to nab a bag when that happens.

 

we could have had men at 3rd and 2nd. with a Cedeno double, that's 2 runs, not 1. just a little more patience early in the count.

I would use whomever threw the fewest pitches (I'm sure that cancels out Williamson completely).

I have to admit I haven't seen a lot of Cub games lately but Ronny was fine in his pitch selection last year near the end before he got hurt.

It's pretty hard for Pierre to nab a bag when Dusty has Cedeno bunting almost every AB.
