After getting booed all weekend, he's got every right to enjoy this HR and let the fans know he's enjoying it.

 

he'd have looked like a huge moran if that ball didn't make it. it wasn't that far out.

 

if it hit the wall and bay misplayed it, he'd have looked even more stupid.

Nice ARam. Let's hope Gopher Ball Glendon can go 7 so we can save the pen.

8 would be even better. But he should be able to go at least 7.

TOP OF THE SIXTH INNING

 

Pierre singled to center field

Bynum bunted to the pitcher for a single, Pierre to second

Lee doubled off the left center field wall, Pierre & Bynum scored

Capps (7th) in to pitch, Hernandez (9th) in at 2b for Pittsburgh

Lee took third base on a wild pitch

Ramirez homered to left field, Lee scored

Walker flied out to shallow left center field

Murton struck out swinging

Cedeno doubled to the left field corner

Blanco flied out to center field

 

4 runs, 5 hits, 0 errors, 1 men left on base

Cedeno leads the team in hits.

That's his 5th double, I believe. Too bad he couldn't get that HR earlier, but he still has an impressive SLG% in the early going.

In place of Bynum's spot today, at least.

I wouldn't mind seeing him in the 2 hole. For some reason I really like Walker in the 5.
