I'm still happy with a 5-3 record, sans Wood and Prior.

I'm happy with a 500 record until we get them back.

Did anyone expect today's lineup to score alot of runs?

No, but I expected our pitching staff to pitch well, considering our ace was on the mound.

Better to get his bad games out of the way in April.

exactly. If we're .500+ after May 1, I'll be happy.

I agree with you. This whole division will be bunched together all year long. It's going to be a dog fight! I'm hoping if and when we do get Prior and Wood we can go on a run and win this division.

Cubs are going have to learn how to beat the Reds soon... 7 games against them in September is pretty scary if they are still in the race. Edited by Brian

Can't really gripe about the record, but the way they've gotten it is somewhat disturbing. If the Cubs can't hit mediocre to moribund laft-handed pitching any better than this (ala the last few years), they're going to have a lot of problems. I just hope the last few days were aberations, not the norm.

Not to mention I've been thouroughly disppointed with Z. 2 games against the Reds and 0 wins (and a ton of runs). Not what I expected from our ace.

leadoff walk for Lee.

How many walks does DLee have this year already? Seems like he is walking 2-3 times a game.

After today's game, more than Bonds.

Lee came into the game with 7 walks in the first seven games.
