Week 1 was a great start to the season, but the action will be more intense in week 2.

This weeks slate includes;

Northside Baseball (1-0) vs. Fuzzy Logistics (0-1)

Lynx (1-0) vs. DB Coopers Flyers (0-1)

Alamo Stealth (0-1) vs. Passion of the Matt (0-1)

Quakers (1-0) vs. Danger Bees (1-0)

The Leon Trotskys (0-1) vs. Harrys Budcrew (0-1)

Galesburg Hand Sanitizers (1-0) vs. Raw Dawgs (0-1)

Buddiga (1-0) vs. NC Cubbies (1-0)

Burning Bulbs (1-0) vs. Skeletons of Society (0-1)

Of course I still don't know why the rest of you are even trying, its obvious that the Mighty Fight'n Quakers are going to win it all :bum:

Triple-B:

You can't get extra starts by putting starters who are also eligible at RP in your lineup at RP. Any points you earn from Madsen and Bucholz won't count.

Right Juan?

Can I have someone change their status? I have potentially two starts from Bucholz and another one from Madson, even though it is in Coors Field.

I'm quite sure you are right; I had that issue last year when Jorge Sosa was in the rotation, but only listed as eligible at RP on Sportsline. That was cancelled out, however, with Schilling being in the Red Sox bullpen but only eligible at SP on Sportsline. I believe Juan was able to override the Sportsline listings and switch them around.

Well, I wasn't aware of the rule that SP can't be placed in the RP spots. But, without the status change, I can't use him at all. What I'd ultimately like to do is get Bucholz in for Moyer. I put my relievers back in and neither actually play today, so no points issues there. Bucholz doesn't pitch until tomorrow and Moyer is later in the week.

It does say that players will be eligible at their primary position. This shouldn't be Juan's problem, but rather Sportsline's problem.

Unless a clear change in a player's position is made during the offseason, a player's "primary" position is determined by the previous year. If a player is clearly set at a new position coming into the year, Juan will typically update his position availability for you.

it's bad enough when your SP gives up a hr...but, man, it really chaps your ass when he gives it up to your opponent's hitter. patterson's not a good match w/ MMP.

since when did they start letting adam everett swing at 3-0 pitches??

So Juan could change McCarthy to a reliever?

Halladay has an injury and won't make his start this week. Juan, can you change Batista's position to SP so I can sub him into the lineup?

Thanks.

Haha. The Giants get PPD. Any word on whether they will make it up tomorrow or at least this week. So much for my 2 starts from Taylor Buchholz. Not that I was expecting a whole lot anyway. [-(

Wow! My number 2 starter goes down. Now my .476 hitting 2B dislocates his thumb. Nobody else but Vlad and Berkman have hit so far this year. And I've gotten no pitching outside of my bullpen.

hmm, 70 point day without a pitcher?

tim, I just saw your note on batista - y'all need to email me or pm if you have a request like that.

meh, not a big deal. I had a different pitcher who didn't require a position change. But I'll keep that in mind for the future.
