Guzman takes a huge step up tomorrow if he can put on a good show IMO. He's got the talent, but now he's in the right place to showcase it.

Guzman with a shaky 26-pitch first inning (15 strikes, 11 balls), but he gets out of it.

Guzman gets out of a rough first. A hit, walk, and 2 hard hit outs to get out of it unscored upon.

1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 1 K. 26 pitches, 15 strikes.

Pie with a leadoff single. Here's the gameday link if anyone wants it.

Felix is off to a good 3 for 3 start for stolen bases.

Yepez has retired all 9 in a row through 3 with 1K.

Heard Nathan mention a couple of curveballs. I have the game on in the background, but I also have friends over and have to head out soon.

Pie lines out to center for the sac fly after Guzman loaded the bags on an infield single with the corners charging after showing bunt. 1-0 I-Cubs. Theriot lines out to center to end the inning.

Yepez walks a batter on a full count after retiring 10 in a row ... and he picks him off 1-3 one out later.

Only one flyball to RF and a few popouts. He's racking up the groundouts and has faced the minimum through 4.

ETA: 37 pitches through 4.

He must have a good move -- Nathan just said he picked off 3 Braves in the exhibition game vs Bradley. :)

Greenberg not in the starting lineup today.

Did he get traded? Kind of early to have an off day

He's 2-12 to start the year. From the pregame interview with Listach, it sounds like he may be trying to do too much and is pressing a little.

Chiefs hitters with 1 hit through 5. Mark Reed has the sole hit, an infield single.

Scoreless to the bottom of the 5th.

That makes sense. You have to have a little sympathy for Greenburg considering his big chance at showing he could stay in the majors, ended due to no fault of his own.

Runners get the double steal with Lewis batting! The umpire apparently fell down while making the safe signal.

Lewis flies out to end the inning for the Jaxx :(
