There is a rumor going around STL that the President may once again throw out the first pitch. Its going to be terrible dealing with figureing out how to get around the new stadium anyway...this certainly won't help much

There have been no meetings to discuss security, as per the Cardinals via Bernie's Pressbox, so I cannot imagine this being a possibility.

In Milwaukee-2001, it wasnt a huge problem with G-Dub comming in, but Busch II is downtown..

Someone mentioned on the Cards Talk thread that with the open outfield, they would probably have to completely shut down the Stadium East Garage.

 

I don't know, I just think it is more appropiate to have Stan throw a pitch to Albert or something like that for the stadiums first pitch

I dont see this happening... and it shouldnt. Atleast for Cincinatti anyone who could see the game was in the stadium... But what presidents have thrown it at Wrigley? Rooftops???

Sorry, my hatred for the city of St. Louis runs much deeper than my hatred for most things. If I offended any homeless guys or crackheads, I sincerely apologize.
