Why they bringing in Dick Vitale with only 45 seconds before a pick?

 

They do only have 5 minutes in between picks unlike the NFL where they have 15 minutes. Makes it a little harder to get everybody in that wants to talk.

So why not do it at 2 minutes 30 seconds, instead of 45 seconds? That leaves plenty of time.

They have to discuss the previous pick and allow Stephen A. and Greg Anthony to talk. Stuart Scott has to interview the previous pick.
