Pierre grounded out to first, 3-1

Walker singled to left center field

Lee popped out to shallow right field

Ramirez homered to left field, Walker scored

Jones grounded out to second, 4-3

FYI, this game will be on Comcast Sportsnet for Chicago people (ESPN will have a black out).

 

This blows. I'm having to listen to the game on XM because of this useless blackout. I'm not happy.

 

I live in Nashville, TN, and I'm blacked out on MLB.TV because Nashville is considered a home market for Cincy, which is 300 miles away. :(

Fred, do you have the stats on hand for how many runs the Cubs scored in the first inning last year? Seems like we're halfway to that total already. :D

Holy wow Pierre has an atrocious arm.

 

What happened?

 

Freel squeaked a ball past Walker and Pierre came in to shallow right/center to pick it up. Freel was going two all the way, Pierre got the ball to second base on about four bounces.
