Well I live in Chicago so the Sox have become my 2nd favorite team.

Not allowed.

I agree. 2nd favorite teams are crap. You can enjoy watching a certain team play but you can't openly root for them unless it's the playoffs and your team is done.

Exactly. That's what the Indians are to me. I love their young team, I enjoy watching them play, but unless they are playing the Sox, an NL Central team, or in the playoffs, I don't feel the need to root for them and call them my second team.

I think it would be more exceptable to have a 2nd favorite team for a whole season, then to adopt one for the playoffs.

Well they are a distant 2nd. I'm going to the Cards\Sox game this year in Cardinal gear with a bunch of Sox fans.

I'm sorry. :D

Funny, as a Cards fan I'd have thought you'd put a higher premium on class.

Have you seen the mullets at busch?

Not in a long time, thankfully. I guess the Sox and Cards have at least that in common.

Besides, I was referring more to the teams themselves. Guys ike Pierzynski and Buehrle aren't exactly ambassadors of sportsmanship and etiquette.

Well played.

I'm outta here, I am far too tired for any witty repartee, and my sense of humor is shot for the day.

Goodnight everyone.

They had a whole offseason to work with ... how did they manage to not replace all the seats? The green on blue looks ridiculous.

Guillen trying to kill an inning again...

well, I could see playing for a run in this weather, but why not let him walk you? I hate bunting forced runners to third though. the number of times it fails is remarkable.

Cabrera's pulling an Andy Pratt. We'll see who wins this battle of the wills.

I think the ball may be wet. Nice catch michaels.
