Murton is tough. I really like watching him hit.

Murton almost doesn't seem like he should be a Cub prospect, he knows how to hit. Weird.

In case anyone cares - Rollins is 0-3 and probably has 1 AB left today

 

why is that important? seriously. does he have some sort of streak going?

He had a streak going at the end of last season.

He had a streak going at the end of last season.

 

35 or 36 games to end the season, to be exact.

He ended last season on a 36 game hitting streak I think is the longest hitting streak since Paul Molitor hit in 39 straight.

We probably haven't taught him anything, I'm sure he learned everything he knows in the Boston system before we got him in the Nomar deal.

Well, he really wasn't a Cubs prospect.

 

Part of scouting is knowing who to fleece from other systems in trades.

 

Murton = Cubs prospect IMO
