Marshall is now slated for the Sunday night game at home against the Cardinals.

Wow. ML debut on national TV in the only game going on at the time. I like starting him at home though.

So that means they're going to keep Zambrano on normal rest and pitch him Saturday?

Can't say I'd mind seeing Z pitch.

Yes, Zambrano goes Saturday as they keep him on normal rest.

Would anyone object to flip flopping Barrett and Jones?

I wouldn't object to flipping Murton and Jones. Or Murton and Walker, then Jones and Walker. I'd like to see Murton hit 2nd or 5th in this lineup.

Gotta pick your battles. If this is the opening day lineup we use I'm happy. At least it has all the right players in it.

Thanks.

I must say that I'm a little encouraged by moving Williams to the bullpen, especially since it might be a sign that they might not be too hesitant to swap Guzman for Rusch after Wood comes back. It also depends on what happens with Miller, of course, but I'm glad they're not afraid to make a move if they feel it's best for the team. We'll see whether the move actually works out, but it's a bit of a departure from the past.

Agreed. I'm not complaining about it. And I don't think it makes a big difference either way. And I do like the LH hitting 2nd with Pierre on 1B.

Jerome Williams has only given up 1 hit thru 2 IP.

Now it's 2 hits through 3 scoreless innings.

Sounds like Marshall being named the #4 has got Williams focused and fired up...

Again...no audio.

Worst ST coverage ever.

EVER!

Why is it that the past two years the W.Sox have just about every game on Comcast? Has anyone figured that out yet?

Bruce is there an indication how patient they will be with Rusch, if he's getting lit up and Williams is pitching well, would they flip spots??? With Marshall getting the nod in the rotation at 4, will Williams be the 5th, or will it be another rookie.

Competition will do that and it's good to see...
